Whew, it has been a fun-filled month moving into MeMe and PaPaw's house! We have closed on the house and settled in here and are loving it. The girls are having a blast playing outside. Marlo has a new best friend next door. Cale is a year younger than her, but they play so well together. The dogs have learned to stay around the house with no fence and they think it's awesome. Brad and I are loving not being right inside the city. We are spending more on gasoline, but it's well worth it. We love it out here in "the country" and look forward to finding a house nearby and never moving back into the middle of OKC! So here are a just few things we have been doing since we have moved.

Family Fall Fun
We are loving this weather!! In our house Fall means soccer and family vacation time! Brad always takes his week vacation in October so we can miss the summer crowds at our vacation destination. This year was amazing!! We took the girls to the Great Wolf Lodge, Rainforest Cafe, and the Fort Worth Zoo. We were 1 of about 75 families at GWL and by the second morning the lifeguards knew Marlo by name. They were cracking up at her going up and down the waterslides alone. The girl has no fear!! It was a wonderful 3 days of just being together as a family. We are SO grateful of all Daddy's hard work which allows us to spend this time together. Enjoy the pictures of our family vacation 2009.
MJ couldn't stop pointing at all the stuff!
Down she goes....

Happy Birthday Marlo
Marlo turns 4 years old today! She had her party on Saturday and this was the 3rd year in a row for it to rain on her party day. The children actually thought we planned her party to be in the rain. They had a blast! Marlo called it her "rain party". Enjoy the pictures:

MJ had 2 cupcakes and wanted more!

Kason celebrating with us!

DLT

Delaynie Kay even joined us: we can't wait her for arrival

Speaking of silly: Mae and Eli

We Took It
We accepted an offer on the house! We are supposed to close on or before Oct 30. We have been down this road several times and the other's have always backed out just before inspections start or soon after. We are praying this time will go all the way through and we will begin our new journey (wherever that may be) very soon.
Thanks for the prayers and we will keep you posted!

House Situation
I thought I might give an update on our house situation. It has been on the market for 3 months and until recently we only had about 3 showings on it. We went 4-5 weeks with no showings and decided to lower the price. After doing so, it showed last Monday and we got an offer. We counter offered and they didn't take our counter offer. Our realtor called last night and the same couple wants to look at the house again tonight. SO - we are not getting our hopes up b/c this last offer was the 7th one we have had since we started to try and sell last year. Brad and I are trusting God's direction and perfect timing, this time around. We learned a HUGE lesson last year when we up and moved without really seeking God's plan for our lives. We are not in a hurry to move and frankly have no idea where we are going to move when the time comes. We are taking this one-step-at-a-time!
So I ask that you will join us in praying that God will open and close doors as he sees fit and that He will give us clarity and a perfect peace during this time and for what will come in our future.
God is faithful and His ways are best!!! I want His ways....

Chuck-E-Cheese
We took the girls to Chuck-E-Cheese on Friday night for a "Family Fun Night" . We always have a wonderful time when we go. I know....we are crazy, but it's worth the craziness to see our girls have fun. Here are the pictures that we had drawn with our 1 token!
